About Germantown
Germantown is the biggest community in Montgomery County - around 90,000 people up the I-270 corridor between Gaithersburg and Clarksburg, and one of the most diverse places in the state. Most of it grew up in the '90s and 2000s, so a lot of the parents we'd care for raised their families here, in neighborhoods that look a lot like our home does.
For older adults the area's well set up. Holy Cross Germantown Hospital is right there for ER runs and follow-ups - no trip down to Silver Spring or Bethesda. Black Hill Regional Park and Lake Churchill are good for a slow walk when family visits, and the MARC line runs to DC for relatives coming from out of town.

- We accept private pay, private insurance, SSI, and SSDI. We do not bill Medicare or Medicaid directly - Medicare doesn’t cover long-term assisted living anywhere in Maryland, and we don’t currently participate in the Maryland Medicaid Community First Choice waiver.
- Can you keep my parent if their dementia gets worse?
- In most cases, yes. Our Level 3 license covers mid- and late-stage dementia in the same home where they started. The exception is if wandering or a safety risk got to where a locked unit would genuinely be safer - we'd tell you that instead of holding on.
- What does $5,000/month include?
- Private room, three home-cooked meals per day plus snacks, medication management by a certified CMT, all assistance with bathing/dressing/toileting/mobility, on-site laundry, daily activities, transportation to local medical appointments, and 24/7 caregiver coverage including overnight.
